The manufactured battery started to swell and budge. I guess this is a known issue with this model of laptop. I was able to install without any issue. I followed the instructions for charging and discharging - after several months using this new battery I have not had any issues with overheating and the rpm of the fan.

Purchased this battery from Dentsing even though it was not OEM from Dell. Installation was extremely easy after removing all the star-bit screws from the laptop. It came fully charged so I was able to use the machine right after installation. I ran the Dell Power Manager software to make sure it was showing a healthy full working battery. It displayed four green hearts and an excellent battery health rating. So far no issues and lasts about four hours before needing a charge.
